About The Impulse Factory

The Impulse Factory is a European front‑runner in guilt‑free snack innovation and private‑label development. Founded in 1999, we co‑create distinctive, better‑for‑you snacks for leading retailers and brands across Europe—from concept to delivery—leveraging deep market insight, agile product development, and long‑standing manufacturing partnerships. Our product foundations emphasize organic pulses and grains, clean labels (no added sugar, no artificial flavours), gluten‑free recipes, plant‑based formulations, and lower‑fat processes. We are organically certified and operate to IFS Broker standards.

At BIOFACH 2026: We will showcase a part of our portfolio of guilt‑free snacks, including innovations such as organic lentil crisps with paprika (Nutri‑Score A), alongside our end‑to‑end service model for private label (“Private Label as a Service”).

Role Purpose

As an Exhibition Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for visitors to The Impulse Factory stand. Your mission is to create a warm, professional welcome; invite visitors to taste our products; and confidently answer questions about our snacks and services—capturing interest and connecting prospects to our sales team.

Key Responsibilities

• Visitor welcome & engagement: Proactively greet attendees, introduce The Impulse Factory, and tailor talking points to their interests (e.g., organic credentials, private‑label co‑creation, clean‑label claims).
• Product tastings: Set up and serve samples professionally, guiding visitors through flavours, textures, and nutritional highlights; manage tasting flow during peaks.
• Answer questions: Provide clear, accurate information about technologies (e.g., puffed/extruded and popped), ingredients, certifications, and our service offering from concept to delivery. Escalate technical queries to contact person when needed. 
• Lead capture: Record visitor details and note interests and next steps.
• Stand readiness: Keep the stand tidy and inviting; restock samples and collateral; ensure the tasting area adheres to hygiene and safety guidelines.
• Brand representation: Uphold professional standards consistent with The Impulse Factory’s values (innovation, quality, service, agility, trust).

Required Profile

• Customer‑facing experience in events, hospitality, retail, or brand activation.
• Communication skills: Confident, clear, and friendly; able to simplify technical information for non‑experts.
• Languages: Strong English is required; German is a plus. Other European languages are welcome.
• Professional presence: Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working on your feet throughout the day.
• Hygiene awareness: Familiarity with food sampling best practices (training provided).
