About Vercony

Vercony is an innovative Dutch startup developing smart and sustainable balcony planter solutions. We are expanding into the German market and will be exhibiting at an upcoming trade fair.

We're looking for a commercially minded person to represent Vercony during the two-day exhibition. You'll be the first point of contact for German retailers while working closely with our team.

Your role:

During the exhibition, you will:

•⁠ ⁠Welcome visitors to our stand.
•⁠ ⁠Introduce Vercony and our products to German retailers and buyers.
•⁠ ⁠Start conversations with potential customers and identify promising business opportunities.
•⁠ ⁠Qualify leads and collect relevant contact information.
•⁠ ⁠Support the Vercony team during meetings and help bridge the language gap when needed.
•⁠ ⁠Represent Vercony in a professional, friendly and enthusiastic manner throughout the event.

This is not a hard-selling role. Your main objective is to engage visitors, build relationships and help us connect with potential retail partners.

What we're looking for:

Required:

•⁠ ⁠German language skills at least C2 level.
•⁠ ⁠Professional English communication skills.
•⁠ ⁠Experience in B2B sales, retail, business development or trade fairs.
•⁠ ⁠Confident approaching new people and starting conversations.
•⁠ ⁠Outgoing, proactive and professional.

Nice to have:

•⁠ ⁠Experience representing brands at exhibitions or trade fairs.
•⁠ ⁠Experience speaking with retail buyers or distributors.



We are a young Dutch startup looking for someone who enjoys meeting people, representing innovative products and helping us introduce Vercony to the German retail market.
